Title
Durbar Procession, circa 1910
-
Institution
Barnard College
-
Description
Students march in what is only identified as the "Durbar Procession" in 1910. Appears to be an imitation or parody of the Delhi Durbar, which was conducted in Delhi, India, to mark the coronation of kings and queens in the United Kingdom. Some students appear to be dressed as royalty; some appear to be in brownface and turbans.
