This volume does not yet have a transcript. Frances Bromley (VC ex-1879) was a prolific diarist, contributing seven diaries to Vassar College spanning 1872-1877. In 1876, she was living at Vassar College. Bromley's diaries contain reflections on her day-to-day activities, literature and biblical quotes, and observations about those around her, whether with her family in Castleton, Vermont, at Vassar College (1876-1877), or during her teaching experiences in Cohoes, NY (1875). Bromley also writes extensively of illnesses throughout her diaries. After her departure from Vassar in 1877, she returns to classroom teaching and private tutoring.
